Meow Wolf

I remember growing up in New York and experiencing all the museums and zoos. I want my kids to experience that part of culture wherever they are. Since moving and living in Denver, the family and I have been wanting to explore the area more and visit art museums. We were given the opportunity  to go to Meow wolf.

When my kids and I walked into the building you are  greeted by greeters, and then your eyes automatically go to all the displays in the entrance area. To your right is the gift shop and to your left is the cafe/restaurant. We made our way to the “train” and another greeter was explaining what was going to take place. As we exited the “train”, we were in awe of the place that we  had landed on. The kids and I were not sure which way to explore. The place gave me Tokyo/ Guardians of the galaxy vibes. As we walked down the hall we noticed an interactive room. If you have Nintendo switch then you are familiar with this game concept.

After exploring the first room ,we then walked down to a door that lead to a not so small room. I would call it the music room ,it had a piano in the wall. We found a spiral staircase that took you through a small hallway…..at the end of the hallway was a completely different world. There was beautiful flowers and creatures coming out of the walls and ceilings. As you look down it was just so amazing and breathtaking.

The kids inside this dome and the colors begin to change.

Inside an interactive art display, that had sounds coming out of the sitting areas. On the ceilings were these interesting clouds/veins.

This art display had paper butterflies and the turned different colors when the kids moved this centerpiece.

This room displayed some futuristic art pieces and this digger.

The Convergence had so many different elements and rooms full of artwork that inspired my little artists. We will definitely be bringing the entire family next time.
